My inspiration I used to have hair this long. I miss it.

I didn't intend to cut it; the aunty did.I went to my fav. saloon to revive the curls (permed). Unfortunately, my fav. hairdresser was too busy cutting others' hair & my fate lies in the hands of her assistant. She trimmed it bit by bit, & slowly, I felt chills going down my spine. I let her continue though, thinking that she was just getting rid off the split ends. Flap through couple of magazines and looked up only to realize how much hair I had left on my head. I was shocked! I almost cried. I stopped her from having that scissors cut another inch of my beloved hair. She kept saying, "haiyoo girl. your hair too thick. need to cut more. see, so dry some more"
Dear aunty, U never knew how long I kept my hair to get to that length & you just crushed my heart when I see 60% of it on the floor (with your smelly feet going over it). I wanted very much to leave, but I didn't want to go with an unmanageable short(er) hair & so I proceed with perming. Here was the result. Of course, it's longer now. But have not reached the length I had previously :( It take monthsss.

No more trimming/cutting for the time being. But I know, I have to make appointments for treatments soon. Bali was great! but it did a huge damage to my hair as well; due to braiding & burnt scalp due to over-expose to the sun. I lost alot of hair when I finally loosen the braids, 5 days after that. I almost cried too. Poor hair :(

I promise I'll shower you with extra tender, love and care, from now onwards.
